In 2024, the first WV fundraiser, the SJGF Walk-n-Roll was absolutely perfect. Joy, inclusion, family, friends, community, support, celebration, love! All the kids, doing all the things, together.
Teams were created around some of the bravest, most resilient, inspiring children you'll ever meet; kids who smile in the midst of hard times and truly teach others what its like to dance in the rain. Each team raised money and rallied friends & family to donate and also join them to walk by their child's side on the accessible route that was filled with fun surprises! We are already thinking of ways to make it bigger and better next year!
This fundraiser was not only about raising money and awareness for SJGF, it was also so children of all abilities AND who use all sorts of modes to Walk OR Roll, could experience the joy of crossing the finish line with their family & friends by their side because...

A great big thank you to everyone who helped to make the 2024 SJGF Walk-N-Roll & 5K event in WV a huge success. Thank you to Milestones Physical Therapy, Inc. team for hosting the event with us, thanks to everyone who came out to run in the 5K before the walk, and to all of our generous sponsors and dedicated volunteers! And a special thank you to Dusty from Charleston Dirty Birds and Marshall Cheerleading for joining us to cheer on our amazing kids at the finish line!
