Come out and
The Sweet Julia Grace Foundation hosts several signature events each year. The purpose of these events are to raise support for all the families and Raindancers we provide services to, and to offer an entertaining event for the community to learn more about who we serve and why we do what we do. SJGF founder, Sara Knight, said, “Our goal has always been to have affordable, family-friendly, community-uniting fundraisers. People have an opportunity to come together and have fun while giving back at the same time.“
Our volunteers make it possible for us to help children, in the midst of a storm, dance in the rain. Because of volunteers like you, we can do what we do! Let’s Dance!
Current Volunteer Opportunities:
Golf Tournament Set-Up Crew
Golf Tournament Golf Cart Drivers
Half Marathon Photographer
Half Marathon Water Station Volunteers
NOTE: Once we set up this section, each volunteer opportunity would link to either a page with responsibility details or directly to the volunteer form.
Grace says she started volunteering with SJGF after seeing one of her classmates at school become a Raindancer and how much of a positive affect it had on his life. She wants to help people smile the way he does after becoming a Raindancer.
Grace has helped collect and set up PICU boxes, deliver Raindancer packages, and has gotten very involved in volunteering for the Prince William Half Marathon. She always has a smile on her face, and is willing to drop everything she's doing to help a Raindancer family.
Thank you, Grace for all that you do! Dance on, girly!
